My name is Meena Aurelia Valentin. I am 21 years old and I have lived in Oak Cliff for the majority of my life. I am half Puerto Rican and half Lebanese and I graduated from Booker T Washington High School for the Visual and Performing Arts in 2022.

In my artistic journey, personal growth serves as the guiding force behind my creations. My art has long served as a medium through which I navigate the labyrinth of my own thoughts and emotions. Rooted in a profound fascination with the metaphysical, my work emerges as an exploration of adorning both the human form and the environments we inhabit. 

Within the sanctum of my artistic practice, I include specific symbols, colors, and materials with a deliberate intention, each with the purpose of invoking distinct energies within my creations. Jewelry stands as the cornerstone of my artistic career, with each piece meticulously crafted to encapsulate the essence of my spiritual journey and hopefully serve as an aid to the wearer.
